East Rock Creek Village Vice President Carroll Greene discusses resources and activities, locally and nationally, for seniors who wish to live active and productive lives and “age in place.”  The national organization, Village to Village Network, has chapters throughout the United States and is going international.  The East Rock Creek Village was created to help senior residents age in their own homes for as long as practical, in seven neighborhoods in upper Ward 4, in northwest Washington, D.C.  Learn more about how the senior village movement is sweeping Washington, D.C. and cities nationwide to empower and assist seniors.

Volunteers and staff provide free transportation to events and appointment,; medical and legal advocacy, advice on senior-friendly home renovation updates, vendor recommendations for repair and maintenance projects, and more.
